🚢 Christening of MS HERA on December 18, 2025 in China

The MS HERA is the second vessel in a series of 14 methanol‑ready ENVIRO feeder ships with a capacity of 1,208 TEU.

Built at the Jiangsu Dajin Heavy Industry shipyard in the People’s Republic of China, it was officially christened on December 18, 2025.
The MS HERA sails under the German flag, and her home port is Hamburg.

We are pleased to accompany this innovative project – the MS HERA – together with REEDEREI H.-P. WEGENER from Jork and would like to thank all partners involved for their excellent cooperation.

Christening of the MS RIKE J in Wilhelmshaven – A Wonderful Day!
The day before yesterday, we had the pleasure of celebrating a very special moment together with our shareholders and investors: the official christening of the MS RIKE J.
The shared bus journey from Oldenburg already provided a great setting for engaging conversations and relaxed exchanges.

Naturally, there was also the opportunity to explore the vessel in detail before the MS RIKE J set off on her first voyage at precisely 14:14. An impressive finale to a truly successful day!

Christening of the MS RIKE J – A Special Moment in Wilhelmshaven!

RIGHT NOW (January 15, 2026 – 11:05 a.m.), the MS RIKE J, the first vessel in a series of 14 methanol‑ready ENVIRO feeder ships, is passing through the sea lock into the Ems–Jade Canal in Wilhelmshaven and preparing to berth in the port.
This Saturday, the official christening ceremony will take place – a true milestone for innovation and sustainability in maritime logistics.
The MS RIKE J stands for progress:
  • Methanol-ready – prepared for environmentally friendly propulsion
  • Capacity: 1,208 TEU
  • Overall length: 154.95 m
We would like to thank Reederei Jüngerhans for the successful execution of this joint project and for the excellent cooperation throughout. Together, we are shaping the future of maritime logistics.

Capital Increase 11.0 on December 15, 2025

The capital increase round 11.0 of Mare Trust AG was duly registered with the Local Court of Oldenburg on December 15, 2025.

As part of this measure, 1,100,000 new shares were issued at an issue price of EUR 8.00 per share. The newly raised share capital will be allocated as equity to new projects, thereby continuously increasing the fixed assets of Mare Trust AG.

This raises the total number of outstanding shares to 28,100,000.

Hello,
Today we are presenting you the MS Birgit G project.
The multi-purpose cargo ship is 88.60 m long and 12.67 m wide, with a design draft of 5.42 m. Since 2018, we have been accompanying the project together with Reederei Gerdes, Haren/Ems.
In February 2025, the 15-year class renewal took place in Husum.
We thank all those involved for the organization and execution of the work and continue to wish them a good journey and profitable charter rates.
